Irish Fest 2026 ended with a bang, y’all. Everyone is safe and that’s what matters. I am so thankful for my family and the fest staff for getting us through clean up. Some big losses as far as inventory goes, but we carry on. Thank you to everyone that supported me and the other artists this weekend. Stay safe, friends. Cheers x

**UPDATE** Huge thank you to @illustratormeg for saving so much of my tent, when the storm got really crazy!!! She swooped in and packed as much as she could, even holding down the tent to keep it from blowing away and hurting others. Because of her, we were able to salvage way more than I expected and I am so thankful. We tried to pack up quickly when they told us to evacuate, but there just wasn’t enough time to save everything and we truly did not expect it to hit so hard. Thank you Meg for being an angel!!!

Sorry to September your August, but I am too excited for autumn not to celebrate a little early 🍁✨ My house has been turned upside down the past few weeks as I prepped ahead for what’s to come! Now, I am headed off for a lil European vacay the next 10 days and will be back just in time to kick off September with ya at the Irish Fest (my favorite show of the year 😉 🥃)☘️

Happy National Repeat Day! Repetition is the best way to really master technique, and it also happens to be a very meditative practice. Tonight’s Meditative Watercolor workshop at Bluebird Studio focused on relaxing, repetitive patterns that encouraged presence and flow. Each design was paired with mantras and questions to ponder, as we painted to soothing sounds.

So proud of these students for trying something new and investing time in self care. I am truly grateful for nights like these 🩵

Last night, I was honored to be one of the featured artists for Stems: A Garden Soirée at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens! 🥹🎨

15 local artists were selected to each hand paint 200 wine glasses for the evening’s guests, and I still can’t believe we made it happen! Over 1,200 people came out to support the Overland Park Arts & Recreation Foundation and celebrate art, nature, and community together.

General admission opened at 7:00. I walked in at 7:10 and my table was already empty. 😭♥️ It was an overwhelming and very validating moment as an artist.

In hindsight, I very much regret not taking more photos of the glasses before dropping them off LOL, but I’m so grateful they found homes so quickly.

Huge thank you to the Arts & Rec Foundation not only for featuring my work, but for all they do to uplift local artists. Also very grateful for my family for constantly reminding me that I am my biggest critic and for holding my hand when I doubt myself. ♥️
