Watercolor with me this weekend!!! There are a few spots left for this weekend’s workshops in Overland Park!

🍁 Tomorrow (Saturday 1-3PM) is our Forest Floor workshop at the OP Arboretum. We’ll paint three themed illustrations. All supplies provided, including design outlines + cider and snacks. Tickets are $62.

🍄 Sunday (6-8PM) at Monstera’s Books in Downtown OP, we are playing with neon paints at our Funky Fungi class! All supplies provided + sangria & snacks. No outlines provided for this one - we’re paintin’ loose & groovy ☮️ Tickets are $62.

Irish Fest 2026 ended with a bang, y’all. Everyone is safe and that’s what matters. I am so thankful for my family and the fest staff for getting us through clean up. Some big losses as far as inventory goes, but we carry on. Thank you to everyone that supported me and the other artists this weekend. Stay safe, friends. Cheers x

**UPDATE** Huge thank you to @illustratormeg for saving so much of my tent, when the storm got really crazy!!! She swooped in and packed as much as she could, even holding down the tent to keep it from blowing away and hurting others. Because of her, we were able to salvage way more than I expected and I am so thankful. We tried to pack up quickly when they told us to evacuate, but there just wasn’t enough time to save everything and we truly did not expect it to hit so hard. Thank you Meg for being an angel!!!

Sorry to September your August, but I am too excited for autumn not to celebrate a little early 🍁✨ My house has been turned upside down the past few weeks as I prepped ahead for what’s to come! Now, I am headed off for a lil European vacay the next 10 days and will be back just in time to kick off September with ya at the Irish Fest (my favorite show of the year 😉 🥃)☘️

This indie used bookshop is nestled in Downtown Liberty on the historic square and features work from several local authors and makers (including fellow watercolor artist @lunasfairyemporium 🧚✨). I have been blown away by the support of my work in my new expanded display and cannot wait to see how this space grows.

This indie used bookshop is nestled in Downtown Liberty on the historic square and features work from several local authors and makers (including fellow watercolor artist @lunasfairyemporium 🧚✨). Owner Stevie is a champion for small business, community, and indie authors. She is always finding new ways to support her vendors, and I am so grateful! I have been blown away by the support of my work in my new expanded display and cannot wait to see how this space grows.

Happy National Repeat Day! Repetition is the best way to really master technique, and it also happens to be a very meditative practice. Tonight’s Meditative Watercolor workshop at Bluebird Studio focused on relaxing, repetitive patterns that encouraged presence and flow. Each design was paired with mantras and questions to ponder, as we painted to soothing sounds.

So proud of these students for trying something new and investing time in self care. I am truly grateful for nights like these 🩵
