Funds raised at Stems benefit the Arts & Rec Foundation of Overland Park, which supports the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, and public art initiatives! The event takes place while the gardens are in full bloom and includes sips & samples from top local restaurants, live music, entertainers, art exhibits, and more ♥️

FBF to my first workshop at Monstera’s last summer! Teaching, while surrounded by books and plants with natural light pouring in, will never get old. So excited to finally be back in this space for our upcoming Palentine’s Paint & Sip on February 15th!!

In late August, the shop unfortunately had to close for restoration after a fire in the building caused severe smoke and water damage and with that, our workshops were put on pause. After months of work, they were finally able to reopen just in time for the holidays. And I have to say, they are lookin’ better than ever, friends! I am so proud of their resilience and their dedication to this little community.

I have classes planned every month here through the end of the year just for you! I cannot wait to kick things off together in just a few weeks! 💗

First live painting event was a success! This is the largest piece I have ever tackled, and it was an honor to share the process with an audience. There are still more details to add in studio, but I am so proud of this experimental commission so far. For the first time, I blended illustration with my acrylic wood-grain dreamscape style, and I can’t wait to see where this direction takes me. (Swipe to see end result)
