Welcome to Day 13 of World Watercolor Month, friends! The last two days, we have taken on some fun challenges that I hope encouraged you to embrace imperfection. Today, we are really easing up and going with the flow. Pick a round brush of any size and a simple color palette. Fill your page with flowing lines/ribbons and lean into the meditative nature of this design. As you create lines across the page, adjust pressure to create the ribbon effect.
Check out examples & video references below, as well as today's journal questions and mantras! Shout out to Lou Davis for the inspo again today!
You can simply paint flowing lines horizontally across the page or you can create more gnarly rhythms. Watch the video for guidance and go with the flow, friends!
Journal Prompt:
When do I feel most in flow?
What can I repeat instead of resist?
Mantra:
I am at ease.
I am in rhythm with myself.
