Got to deliver this big boy today! ✨ I created this piece for a live demo during the annual CBIZ Plaza Art Fair Party, then brought it back to the studio for some finishing touches. It’s the largest piece I’ve ever painted, and sharing the process with the community made it even more special. ♥️

First live painting event was a success! This is the largest piece I have ever tackled, and it was an honor to share the process with an audience. There are still more details to add in studio, but I am so proud of this experimental commission so far. For the first time, I blended illustration with my acrylic wood-grain dreamscape style, and I can’t wait to see where this direction takes me. (Swipe to see end result)

Special shout out to my mom Ruth and my sister Mary for helping me prepare, and to Miss Courtney and her beautiful mama Sherri for opening the space and being my little helper fairies throughout the day. It feels like a full circle moment to be teaching in the same studio that encouraged me to pursue art professionally. I am excited to take what I learned yesterday to game plan for future workshops. One of my favorite things is seeing how y’all frame or style my art in your spaces! We buy art to reflect our personality and style - to make a house our home, and it’s amazing to be a small part of that for so many of you ♥️ Since my first art pop-up in November, over 50 of my original paintings have been adopted and nearly 400 prints. I am proud of the progress I’ve made as an artist, but I’m even more grateful for the support you’ve shown. I feel like I stumbled on this path and somehow have hit a stride - with the help of an incredible support system and community that no one person could ever deserve. Thank you will never be enough, I love you the yellowest 💛
