Happy Day 10, y'all! I hope yesterday's petal pattern allowed you to get into flow and really meditate while you painted. Today, we are embracing whimsy and childlike wonder by filling our pages with tiny blob characters. You can make your blobs into beetles, snails, bees, birds, bats, cats, etc. This is about loosening up, letting go, and practicing illustration in a very joyful way.
Check out the examples & video references below, along with today's journal prompts and mantras.
Simply paint a variety of colorful circles, ovals, and loose blobs across your page. Allow them to dry, then use a fine liner pen or detail brush to turn your blobs into happy little creatures! Follow the video tutorials below for guidance.
Journal Prompt:
What filled me with wonder as a child?
What little joys did I notice today/this week?
Mantra:
Play is productive.
I choose wonder over worry.
